Amalfi Coast
We had a spectacular day traveling by ferry to Sorrento. The scenery on the Amalfi Coast is spectacular, and it's no wonder it's a vacation destination. We passed the little town of Cetara which is where the fisherman catch all those lovley anchovies we've been eating, then Minori, Amalfi and Positano before rounding the peninsula into Sorrento on the Gulf of Naples. The white-washed towns are all built on hillsides overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, each one with its own beautiful churches and ruins scattered about. Heart-stopping, narrow serpentine roads hang from the hillsides, and make us feel glad we are on a boat.

Boats of all sizes are everywhere....from cruise ships and private yachts to row boats and kayaks.
Heaven!
